Carlos is a cinematographer from the Canary Islands, currently based in Madrid.
Inspired by the emotional power of imagery, Carlos pursued a career in cinematography. He earned a Bachelor's Degree in Animation and later completed a Master's Degree in Cinematography at ECAM, graduating at the top of his class.
As a director of photography, Carlos has worked on a wide range of projects, including narrative short films, commercials, music videos, and documentaries. Several of these short films have been recognized at renowned festivals, earning him the Best Cinematography Award at the V Memorables Film Festival for the short film I Have Something to Tell You.
Carlos thrives on exploring the possibilities of visual storytelling and enjoys collaborating with directors of different styles, always seeking the visual approach that best serves each project.
In addition to his cinematography work, Carlos has more than six years of experience at the Emmy-winning visual effects studio El Ranchito, where he worked as a matte painting and concept artist on projects such as Society of the Snow and Halo.
